Experience
I graduated from UCI with two majors. I have experience in AP Calculus (4), AP Biology (4), AP World History (4), and AP Studio Art (4). I have tutored kids in Math and English subjects for 3 years. Some of my kids were looking to get ahead, and others were looking to catch up in a smaller educational setting. Tutors have a great advantage in being able to impact lives in a more direct and personal manner than do some teachers, and that is why tutoring is an attractive and viable option for me. Being a product of one-on-one tutoring helps me to know what methods work as a tutor and what doesn't. Throughout my college career I've taken numerous math and science classes, as well as classes oriented around social studies. I've also had the opportunity to teach in summer camps in the US and in China. Both experiences helped with the expansion of my teaching repertoire.
